Rehabilitation International(RI) Korea, which started private welfare for the first time in Korea in 1954, established a rehabilitation research center in 1997 to activate the research function of not only disabilityrelated laws and policies, but also academic and service practice sites. In addition, we published 「Journal of Rehabilitation Research(JRR)」, the first specialized academic journal in the field of rehabilitation and welfare for the disabled to facilitate exchange and cooperation between schools and sites. The journal is released four times a year, released on every March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. Since 2009, it has been registered as a journal of the Korean Citation Index(KCI), and has been recognized for its academic value through the publication of multidisciplinary papers in all areas of rehabilitation and welfare for the disabled, not limited to specific areas of disability.
